Can I post bad goth poetry (not that I've written any lately) here, so long as it's clearly not to be taken seriously? Because sometimes writing melodramatic things makes me feel better.

Because how I'm interpreting this community is that it's a place where people post gloomy things about themselves or other people in order to feel better about things.

Yes, amusing Goth rants are okay. I just didn't want this site to be mistaken for the Samaritans or something.
And postings can be on anything gloomy - be it literature or music... or certain Russian jokes. I would particularly like to see examples of jet-black humour, as it's something of a fad of mine. But really, whatever you can find that's rather sad and rather funny at the same time.

How about stuff that's only funny once you get over the squick factor? Not that I'm easily squicked....

Re: for the unenlightened

Technically, squicking is the act of fucking someone or something through their eye socket or another hole in their skull. But in the more general sense it's used to describe the feeling you get when you're utterly disgusted/shocked/grossed-out by something - like a weird, crawling sensation in your mind.

Oh, as in, Harry Potter with the dead basilisk?
-forget I asked...

mmm, crawly things... I'm sure that's permissible. If you do manage to gross me out, I shall reward you with a chocolate fish.
