Drink up, it's good for you!
It is Autumn in the land of the pink tree|
Spring went by so quicky
Carefully I assembled you
Slot A into Slot B
The strong brown cardboard trunk standing tall and proud
You were young then.
Like a nurturing goddess I
Cut open the pouch of liquid and watered you
How you tried my patience in your spring!
Watching eagerly for signs of blossoming
Of the pink foliage I was promised.
Then, in the secret depths of night
Reaching out into darkness with pink crystalline structures
Fulfilling the promise of your $2.95.
Your summer was pink
Small and pink and kind of round
How pretty you looked sitting on the bench!
Your utter pinkness stood defiant to
The plain cardboard and darkness of your birth.
Now, it is Autumn.
The pink falls
Collecting in the cheap white plastic that is your soil.
You look so bare
Not very pretty at all.
Soon, it will be Winter
Tenderly I shall take you
Tap the pink crystals into the sink
Because I want to see what will happen.
Then, the circle shall be fulfilled:
Once again as a mother goddess I
Will throw you in the bin.
